HAPPY TEACHERS DAY SMK BUKIT JAMBUL

Tomorrow my son 's school is celebrating Teachers Day. He came home today and coolly said to me that he had promised to bring a delicious home made dessert to his teacher. Now with such a short notice, what can any mom prepare? Well after going through some of my old collections of recipes I decided to make Thriffle . You may ask why I did not make any jellies. Believe me that was in my mind until my son told me" No jellies please. Somebody else has offered to bring one tomorrow" So here it is after 2 hours of baking and cooking . Anyway I would like to wish all the teachers who had taught all my kids, especially my eldest daughter who will be joining her overseas program soon, for all their hardwork and dedication this is the least I can do for them. Happy Teacher's Day!!!

As As I was sitting thinking the other day, I realised how many of us are not thankful to a lot of things that we get in our lives not to mention in a day.The recent disaster in Myanmmar and China again open our eyes to be thankful that we are alive this very minute. It takes only a few seconds for the Almighty to wipe out an entire community. What happened to all the dreams, ambition, and needs of all this people who have perished? Human being in this modern age had become very materialistic always chasing for time to make money and more money. When this kind of catastrophe happens it jerks everyone from their dreamland. These events leads to that small voice telling us what is more important in our lives. Think about it. I started thinking some time ago...
